James Gilliam Hutchins

Mr. James Gilliam Hutchins, age 87, of Wingo, KY passed away Sunday,
January 12, 2020 at his residence.

He was born on September 5, 1932 in Graves County, KY to the late
Willie Vester and Ora Coplen Hutchins.

Gilliam was a member of the Mt Olive United Methodist Church and was a
United States Army Veteran where he served in the Korean War. He was also
a Mason and a member of the American Legion Post 0026 in Mayfield, KY.
Gilliam had worked in Detroit, MI for 30 years at General Motors, after retiring he moved
back to Graves County, KY, his home area.

He is survived by his wife, Beverly Bacci Hutchins, whom he married June 12,
1953, a son, Randy Michael Hutchins of Wingo, KY and a brother, Weldon
Hutchins of Wingo, KY, five grandchildren; Nicole Nelson of Wingo, KY,
Ashley Hough of Heath, OH, James Hutchins of Wingo, KY, Justin
Hutchins of Wingo, KY, Gary Hutchins of Warren, MI and five great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by two sons; Gary James Hutchins
and Terry Raymond Hutchins, three brothers; W.B. "Dub" Hutchins, Roscoe Hutchins,
William Leonard "Bill" Hutchins and four sisters; Ethel Poole, Frances Hutchins, Esther
Jones and Gladys Cash.

Funeral services will be held at 1PM Thursday at the Mt Olive United Methodist
Church with burial to follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be held at the
Mt Olive United Methodist Church from 11AM Thursday until the hour of service.
