James E. "Jim" White, Jr.

June 30, 1953 — March 29, 2014

Mr. James E. (Jim) White, Jr. of Beaumont, TX, formerly of Hickman, KY, died Saturday, March 29, 2014 at the Christus Hosptial St. Elizabeth in Beaumont, TX.

He was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Beaumont, TX
and was the general manager for a hotel in Beaumont. He had lived most
of his life in Hickman,KY and had also lived in Paducah, KY and Beaumont,
TX.  No matter where he lived, in his heart his home was Hickman.  He is
now coming home for the final time.

He is survived by his wife, Vickie (Collings) White of Beaumont, TX, two
sons, James Edward "Jay" White III of Bowling Green,MO and Joseph "Joe"
Perry White and wife Crystal of Paducah, KY,  two grandchildren Braxton
Wade White of Tallaulah,LA and Aiden Riley of Paducah, KY, a sister Jan
Marie White of Hickman, KY and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his son Jon Michael White, his parents
Mozelle (Poynor) and James Edward "Dock" White, Sr., and a sister
Pamela Jo White.

Active Pallbearers will be Jason Adams, Kevin Caldwell, Ben Coffey,
Ken Moss, Steve Shelton, Glenn Jones, Dan Rice and Jeremy Hopper,
Jason Lattus.
Honorary Pallbearers: Harry Poynor, David Poynor, Don Lattus,
Terry Hopper, Rick White, Buzz Blincoe, Bart White, Gary White,
Jerry Lee White, Jay Moss, Mike Moss, Kevin Baker, Dennis Tucker,
W.C. Nicholson, C.H Poynor, RayNoble White and all the people he
loved in Hickman.

Funeral service will be 2 pm Friday, April 4, 2014 at the First United Methodist Church in Hickman, KY and interment will be in the Hickman City Cemetery.  Visitation will also be at the First United Methodist Church from 5-8 pm on Thursday, April 3 and on Friday from 9 am until the funeral hour.
