James E. "Jim" Bright

March 23, 1930 — April 3, 2008

He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Arlington, KY and was a U.S. Marine veteran having served in the Korean War. He was a clerk operator for the Illinois Central Gulf Railroad and retired in 1988. He had lived in Fulton, KY most of his life.

He is survived by his wife - Gene (Mann) Bright of Fulton, KY, a son and daughter in law - Micky & Peggy Brockwell of Fulton,KY,
2 daughters and son in laws - Rejeana & David McDaniel of South
Fulton, TN and Laura & Kirk McAlister of Altamonte Springs, FL. 8 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. 2 sisters - Mary Sue Allen of Arlington, KY and Mildred Ann Hogancamp of Bardwell, KY.

He was preceded in death by his parents- T.C. and Lottie (Wright) Bright,2 brothers and 2 sisters, and a step brother - Clinton Bright.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, April 6,2008 at 2 p.m. in our funeral chapel with burial to follow in the Obion Co. Memorial Gardens. Visitation for Mr. Bright will be on Saturday from 5-8 p.m. and anytime after 8 a.m. on Sunday until the funeral hour.
