Mr. James Bridgewater of South Fulton died Sunday, March 2, 2014 at the Baptist Memorial Hospital in Union City, TN.
He was a US Air Force veteran where he served in the Korean Conflict, was retired from the former Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company in Union City, TN. He lived most of his life in this area.
He is survived by his wife Frances (Brewer) Bridgewater of South Fulton, TN, whom he married January 5, 1959, three sons; Barry Bridgewater of South Fulton, TN, Bryan Bridgewater of Union City, TN, Ben Bridgewater of South Fulton, TN, one daughter Terri Weatherly of Fulton, KY, three sisters; Lucille Ward of Prescott Valley, AZ, Mary Ellen Robinson of Kevil, KY, Anna Lee Martin of Tucson, AZ, one brother Harlan Bridgewater of Michigan Center, MI,
twelve grandchildren, five great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents Benjamin and Clarice Price
Bridgewater ,two sons Greg Bridgewater and Jeff Bridgewater, a
daughter Angelia Denise Bridgewater and a granddaughter Karla Weatherly.
Funeral services will be held at 2 pm Sunday in our funeral chapel with burial to follow in the New Hope Cemetery. Friends may call the funeral home form 6-9 pm Saturday and anytime Sunday until the funeral hour.
