Iva H. Owen

Mrs. Iva H. Owen, 88, of South Fulton died Friday at Jackson Purchase Medical
Center in Mayfield.

She was a homemaker and medical technologist at the former Fulton Hospital and
retired from Parkway Regional Hospital in 1987 after 40 years of service. She was
a graduate of the former Dixie High School in Obion County, a member of the First
Baptist Church and a resident of the area all of her life.

She is survived by her husband, Billie Owen to whom she married in 1948,
a daughter, Kim Owen (Bobby Dean) Combs of Queidersbach, Germany,
a son, Ted (Dianne) Owen of South Fulton, TN., five grandchildren, Jennifer
Amy Delloma of Derby, Kansas, Kelly Rose Combs of Springfield, MO., Joshua
Paul Combs of Grunstadt, Germany, Brett Hamilton Owen of Hendersonville, TN.,
and Seth Warren Owen of Syrma, TN., one great-grandchild, Morgan Rose
Krejci Delloma of Derby, KS. and one sister, Ledelle Lynch of Nashville,
TN.

She was preceded in death by her parents, William Burnett and Leona Hickman Hamilton,
three sisters and twin grandsons.

Services are scheduled for Sunday at 2:00 p.m. at Hornbeak Funeral Chapel with burial
to follow at Johnson Grove Cemetery. Friends may call after 10:00 a.m. on Sunday until
the funeral hour.
