Inetha Evans

Mrs. Inetha Evans, 87, of Hickman, KY, passed away at her residence on Thursday, April 6, 2023.

Inetha was born on May 28, 1935 in Lake County, TN to the late Howard and Judy Elaine (Phillips) Lee. She could always be found outside working in her yard, and was of the Pentecostal faith.

In addition to her parents, Inetha is preceded in death by her husband, George Thomas Evans, daughter Trelesia “Lisa” Larue, and a brother Dennis Lee Evans.

She is survived by her son, Larry Evans of Hickman, KY, daughters, Ann Thomas of Hickman, KY, Joyce Smith of Hickman, KY, Tula Bradley of Union City, TN, brother Donnie Evans of Hickman, KY, sister Annalou Walters of Niceville, FL, 8 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, and 3 great great grandchildren.

Funeral services for Mrs. Inetha Evans will be held on Monday, April 10, 2023 at 1:00 P.M. at Strong Funeral Home with Bro. Jason Sipes officiating. Burial will follow in the Hickman City Cemetery.

The family will receive visitors on Monday, April 10, 2023 at Strong Funeral Home from 11:00 A.M. until service time.

Jamie Thomas, Tommy Thomas, Melvin Yates, Jesûs Rico, Matt Elks, Jimmy Elks, and Grant Wiley will serve as pallbearers.

Strong Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
