Howard Henderson

December 27, 1939 — June 27, 2021

Howard C. Henderson of South Fulton passed away Sunday, June 27 at Union
City Nursing and Rehab.

He was born on December 27, 1939 in Obion County, TN to the late Clayton
and Virginia Howard Henderson.

Howard attended University of Tennessee at Martin where he received a Bachelor's
degree in agriculture. He was a member of South Fulton Methodist Church. Howard
was a heavy equipment operator salesman and worked for Road Builders in Union City
and various other equipment companies before retiring from L. B. Smith. After retiring
he started his own company: Henderson Equipment Sales.

He enjoyed attending TN Walking horse shows, trout fishing with his son, TN Vols
sports and Cardinal baseball. His pride and joy was his partnership with his children,
Beth and David in Henderson Colt Farms; raising TN Walking horses. He had
3 World Champion Mare and Foal with Pusher's Jr. Miss and her colts; Miss Martini,
Double Martini and Give Me A Triple. Over the years raised and showed many
other top colts.

Howard is survived by his daughter, Beth Henderson of Memphis, TN and his son,
David Henderson of Memphis, TN. He is preceded in death by his wife, Eva Jo Reams Henderson and his parents.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2 PM in our chapel with burial to follow
at Obion County Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held from 10 AM Wednesday
until the hour of service.
