Howard Brown Armbruster

January 22, 1919 — February 9, 2009

Mr. Armbruster died Monday, February 9, 2009 at the Baptist Hospital East in Memphis, TN.

He was a retired conductor for the Illinois Central Railroad,
was a World War II veteran where he served in the U.S. Army and the U.S. Army Air corps. He was also a member of the Roberts Masonic Lodge #172 in Fulton,KY, the VFW in Union City, TN, the First Baptist Church and the 3 C's Sunday School Class in Fulton.

He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Martha Jean Brown Armbruster of Fulton, KY, a son and daughter in law, Lynn and Cheryl Armbruster of
Arlington,TN, 2 grandchildren, Brandon Armbruster,Memphis, TN and
Crystal Armbruster, Murfreesboro,TN. He is also survived by a brother &
sister in law, James I. and Marge Armbruster, Murray, KY, a brother in law & sister in Law, Charles Ray & Pat Brown, So. Fulton,TN,
2 nieces,Annie Lee Stephens,South Fulton,TN & Melinda Douglas, Evansville,Indiana and 2 nephews, Alan LeCornu, Paducah,KY and Dr. James I. Armbruster II of Sterling, Colorado.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Lara and Ava Lee
Brown Armbruster and 2 sisters, Bessie Lee Green & Marion LeCornu.

Funeral services will be held at the Hornbeak Funeral Home at 1 pm Thursday, February 12, 2009. Burial will be in the Pleasant View Memorial Gardens in Fulton,KY. A visitation will be held at the funeral home from 5-8 pm on Wednesday and after 8 am Thursday until the funeral hour. A masonic service will be held at the funeral home at 7 pm on Wednesday.
