H.L. Collier

June 13, 1921 — May 5, 2014

Mr. H.L. Collier, age 92, of Fulton, KY died Monday, May 5, 2014 at his residence.

He was a member of the Smith Street Church of Christ in South Fulton,
where he had served as an Elder and a Deacon, American Legion Post # 72 for
53 years and a former member of the Civitan Club in Fulton, KY, was a veteran
of the United States Army where he served in World War II.  He retired from
Kentucky Utilities where he was a groundman and had lived all of his life in this area.


He is survived by two daughters Cathie Collier of Fulton, KY and Janice
(Michael) Clark of Troy, TN, two grandsons; Isaac Benjamin Holley and
Jacob Morris, three step grandsons, one great grandchild and eight
step great grandchildren.

 

He was preceded in death by his wife Jean Collier, his parents Connie
Milton and Nannie Milner Collier, two brothers and three sisters.


Funeral services will be held at 11 am Friday in our funeral chapel with
burial to follow in the Obion County Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be
at the funeral home from 5- 8 pm on Thursday and anytime after 8 am
on Friday until the funeral hour.
