Mrs. Helen W. Williams, age 86, formerly of Fulton and Paducah died Sunday morning, March 8,2015 at the Weakley County Nursing Home in Dresden, TN.
She was a member of the Immanuel Baptist Church in Paducah, KY and
had been a telephone operator for Bell South for 35 years. She was also a member of the Telephone Pioneers of Amercia. She had lived in Fulton for many years before moving to Paducah and had lived in this area most of her life.
She is survived by a daughter Sallie Turberville of Fulton, KY and a son Robert "Bobby" Williams of Troy, TN; six grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband Glenn D. "Nemo" Williams,
her parents Ollie and Mary Young Wood, two brothers and a sister.
A memorial graveside service will be held at 2 pm on Monday, March 23 at the Greenlea Cemetery. There will be no visitation held at the funeral home and friends are asked to meet at the cemetery at the hour of service.
Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, Greater Kentucky and Southern Indiana Chapter, Kaden Tower, 6100 Dutchmans Ln Ste. 401,
