Helen Ferguson Campbell

July 31, 1933 — December 15, 2019

Mrs. Helen F. Ferguson Campbell, age 86 and a resident of Fulton passed away Sunday, December 15, 2019 at the Jackson Purchase Medical Center in Mayfield, KY

 

Helen was born in Fulton Co., KY July 31, 1933 daughter of the late Tee Roy and Ida Mae Allen Ferguson.

 

She retired July 1, 1984 after over 30 years of service as operator and service clerk for the former South Central Bell Telephone Company.

She showed her many talents and gifts through her love and support of family, friends and most of all her church family at Liberty Baptist Church where she was a faithful member.  She was also a graduate of the former Cayce High School.

 

Surviving Mrs Campbell are 2 sisters, Doris Harrison and Mildred Harrison both of Fulton, KY and 2 brothers, Gaylon Ferguson, Memphis, TN  and James Allen Ferguson, Waycross, GA as well as several nieces and nephews.

 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death  by her husband, James Paul Campbell who died 4-12-1992, 4 brothers, Homer, Willard, Elvis and Clifton Ferguson and 3 sisters, Evelyn Sue Ferguson, Alla Mae Guill and Reba Stoker.

 

Funeral services for Helen will be held at 11:00 am Wednesday, Dec. 18, 2019  at the Hornbeak Funeral Chapel.  Burial will follow in Pleasant View Memorial Gardens.  Visitation will be held at the Funeral Home after 8:00 am Wednesday until the funeral hour.
