Hattie Mae Murphy

Ms. Hattie Mae Murphy, 82, of Hickman, KY, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, September 27, 2022.

She was born in Fulton County, KY to the late Millard and Ardell (Donlow) Mitchell on December 21, 1939. Hattie was a member of Thomas Chapel in Hickman, KY.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by 6 children, 3 brothers, and 2 sisters.

Hattie is survived by her children; Tom (Amanda) Mays, Jr of Union City, TN, Elvis (Monica) Mayes of Hickman, KY, Janice Nolan of Hickman, KY, Terry (Jamie) Mayes of Union City, TN, Leann Murphy of Martin, TN, Lisa (Bo) Boyd of Sharon, TN, Leslie (Derrick) Murphy of Hickman, KY, Terrisha (Johnathan) Gates of Union City, TN; and her 3 siblings, Willie Mae (Morris) Smith, Betty Lee (Arthur) Mayes, Roosevelt Mitchell, all of Hickman, KY, and a host of grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

Funeral services for Ms. Hattie Mae Murphy will be held on Saturday, October 8, 2022 at 12:00 P.M. at Thomas Chapel in Hickman, KY with Bro. Richard Holloway officiating. Burial will follow in the Hickman City Cemetery.

The family will receive visitors from 10:00 A.M. on Saturday, October 8, 2022 until service time.

Precious J. Mourney, Ricky L. Alexander, Bronzie Johnson, Sr., Derrick Couch, Bruce Elam, and Tony Udley, Sr. will serve as pallbearers.

Honorary pallbearers are Roosevelt Smith, Jr., Morris Crumble, Mark Fitz, and Christopher Smith.
