Mr. Charles Harrison “Harry” Poynor III, 70, of Hickman, KY, passed away on Sunday, June 5, 2022.

Harry was born on September 3, 1951 to the late Charles Harrison Poynor II and Mary Ruth (White) Poynor. He was a member of the First Christian Church of Hickman, KY and worked most of his life driving a truck. He was also known by the handle “Ski Baby”. He was a friend to all of Hickman and wore a smile on his face.

He is survived by his son, C.H. (Courtney) Poynor of Mayfield, KY; daughter, Paige (Jeremy) Grimmitt of Clinton, KY; grandchildren Harrison, Luke, and Charles Ryan Poynor of Mayfield, KY and Logan, Lucas, and Olivia Grimmitt of Clinton, KY.

Funeral services for Mr. Harry Poynor will be held on Wednesday, June 8, 2022 at 11:00 A.M. at Strong Funeral Home with Steve Coulson officiating. Burial will follow in the Hickman City Cemetery.

The family will receive visitors on Tuesday, June 7, 2022 from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. at Strong Funeral Home and from 9:00 A.M. until service time on Wednesday, June 8, 2022.

C.H. Poynor, Jeremy Grimitt, Luke Screen, Dylan Burgess, Don Lattus, and Hal Coffey will serve as pallbearers.
