Gus Franklin Alexander, Jr.

Mr. Gus Alexander, Jr., 93, of Water Valley KY died Friday June 3, 2016
at his home.
Mr. Alexander was a member of the Bayou de Chine Church in Water
Valley KY for 77 years. He was a supervisor for the former
Henry I. Siegel Clothing Co. and was also a farmer. He was the oldest member of the Water Valley KY Masonic Lodge. Mr. Alexander had also been associated with the Downtown Merchants Association, worked as a city coordinator and was involved with the civic affairs all for the city of Dickson TN. Mr. Alexander had lived all of his life in Dickson TN and Water Valley KY.
He is survived by a daughter, Lana Cheryl Hutchison of Water Valley KY, two grandchildren, Lana Dyan Darnell of Wingo KY, and Russell Alexander Hutchison of Cayce KY, four great grandchildren, three great great grandchildren and a brother Duncan Alexander of Water Valley KY.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Martha Louise (Hall) Alexander to whom he married June 1, 1942, and his parents Ona (Rodgers) and Gus Alexander, Sr.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday at Hornbeak Funeral Chapel in Fulton KY. Burial will follow in the Camp Beauregard Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Saturday. Masonic services will be held at 7:00 p.m. Saturday night.
