Glen Dell French

May 22, 1925 — November 19, 2008

He was a member of the New Salem Baptist Church and was a mechanic for Driver Motors in Mayfield, KY. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army having served in WWII. He was a member of the American Legion Post 26 in Mayfield KY., a 38 year Member of the Disabled American Veterans and a life member of the Purple
Heart Organization. He had lived all of his life in the Wingo (Pilot Oak) community.

He is survived by his wife Jackie Hicks French of Wingo KY., a son Wendell French and wife Jenny of Pilot Oak,KY, a grandson Mark Allen French and wife Melissa French of Murfreesboro,TN, and a great grand daughter Ella Deanne French also of Murfreesboro, TN., and a sister Eulene Fleming of Crete IL.

He was preceded in death by his parents Clarence W. and Ora Burnham French, a son Mark Anthony French and a sister Darnell Crider.

Funeral services for Glen French will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday in our funeral chapel. Burial will follow in the Pilot Oak Baptist Cemetery. Friends may call the funeral home from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday and anytime after 8 a.m. Saturday until the funeral hour. Memorials may be made to the Pilot Oak Baptist Cemetery
