Gerald Mitchell Stone

Mr. Gerald Mitchell Stone, age 67, of South Fulton, TN passed away on Saturday, March 9, 2019 at his home.

He was a member of the Pleasant Valley Baptist Church and was a member of the SIU Union - Seafarers International Union. He was a retired boat pilot for Hannah Marine in Chicago, IL, where he retired in 2009.   He had lived in South Fulton, TN most of his life.

Mr. Stone is survived by his wife of 14 years, Shelia Gail Cope Stone of South Fulton,TN; a sister Wanda Joyce Stone of Fulgham, KY and a brother Elbert Gene Stone of Los Animos, CO.

He was preceded in death by his parents Zellia Omega Quinn Stone and Elbert Rupert Stone.

A memorial service will be held at  1 pm, Tuesday, March 12 at Pleasant Valley Baptist Church, near Fulgham (KY) with visitation at the church from 11 am until the hour of service. Bro. Max Anderson and Bro. Mickey Fowler will officiate.
