Gerold Dunnagan

Mr. Gerold Dunnagan , 86, of Hickman, Ky died on July 22, 2019 at the Spring Creek Nursing Home in Murray, KY.

Mr. Gerold retired from the US Air Force after 20 years service.  He then worked as a towboat engineer for the McAlister Towing Company until he retired.  He was a member of the East Baptist Church.

Mr. Dunnagan was born in Waverly, TN on December 14, 1932 to the late Ernest Franklin Dunnagan and the late Lucille (Wafford) Dunnagan.  In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his step-mother, Adelene Dunnagan; wife, Reba Dunnagan; brothers, Eugene Dunnagan and Ernest Dunnagan, Jr. and sister, Doris Cox.

Survivors include his daughter Carol (Alan) Bryant of South Fulton, TN, brother, David Dunnagan of Nesbitt, MS, granddaughter, Jennifer (Greg) Gilson , great grandson, Cole Garrett all of Murray, KY and his special furry companion, Sugar.

Funeral Services for Mr. Gerold Dunnagan will be held on Thursday, July 25, 2019 at 1:00 P.M. at Strong Funeral Home with Rev. Mark Lambert officiating. Burial will follow in the Hickman City Cemetery with Military rites.

The family will receive visitors from 11:00 A.M. until service time on Thursday, July 25, 2019 at Strong Funeral Home.

Mack Deal, Jerry Deal, Dan Sheehan, Randal Bruner, and Will Greer will serve as pallbearers.
