George R. Humphreys

Mr. George R. Humphreys, age 88, of Fulton passed away on
Friday evening, August 24 at his home.
He was of the Methodist faith and had been a police officer for the
City of Detroit, MI. He had also been a bus driver for the Hickman
Co. Board of Education. He had lived in Detroit, MI, Hickman Co., KY
and Fulton, KY.
He is survived by his wife Jetty Mae McAlister Humphreys of Fulton, KY,
three sons George G. Humphreys of Drakesboro, KY, Richard A.
Humphreys and Jeffrey L. Humphreys of West Tawakoni, Texas;
three grandchildren, two great grandchildren, and two brothers David
Humphreys and Clifford Humphreys, both of Wingo, KY.
He was preceded in death by his parents William "Bill" W. and
Edna Henderson Humphreys and two sisters Evelyn Brown and
Elnora Clifton.
Funeral service will be held at 2 pm Tuesday, August 28 in our funeral
chapel with burial to follow in the Wesley Cemetery. Visitation will be
held at the funeral home from 12 noon Tuesday until the funeral hour.
