George Woodrow "Woody" Castleman

Mr. George Woodrow "Woody" Castleman, age 68, of the Chestnut Glade community, died May 26, 2013 at his home.
He was a member of the Siloam Baptist Church in Dresden,TN and had worked in the Final Finish department at the Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co. in Union City where he retired with over twenty years of service. He had been a resident of Niles, MI before returning to this area in 1977.
He is survived by his wife Brenda Adell (Gibson) Castleman of the Chestnut Glade community, whom he married Sept. 23, 1961; his mother Geneva (Ingram) Castleman of Mayfield, KY, a son and daughter in law George Castleman, Jr. and Barbara of Latham, TN, two daughters and a son in law
Penny and Keith Johansen of Martin, TN and Roxanne Pate of South Fulton,TN; eleven grandchildren and nine great grandchildren, a brother Richard
Castleman of Dukedom, TN and two sisters Wanda Fagan of Dukedom, TN
and Violet Heathcoatt of Mayfield, KY.
He was preceded in death by his father Cary Odell "C.O." Castleman, a granddaughter, a great granddaughter and a brother Randall Castleman.
Visitation will be at the Hornbeak Funeral Chapel on Wed., May 29 from 5-8 pm. A memorial graveside service will be held on Friday, May 31 at 10 am at the New Hope Cemetery in Ruthville, TN.
Memorials may be made to the St. Jude Children's Hospital, P.O. Box 1000, Dept. 142, Memphis, TN 38148-0142.
