George Theauthor “Pete” Belcher, age 77, of South Fulton, TN
died 1:30 am on March 26, 2012 at the Parkway Regional Hospital.
He had retired from the Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company in Union City,TN in 2000, where he was a tire inspector. He had moved to this area in 1973 from Akron, Ohio.
He is survived by a son George Wesley Belcher of Akron, OH,
two daughters Marla Kaye Tucker of Akron, OH and Renee Ann Rice
of Norton, OH, eight grandchildren and six great grandchildren; four sisters Rose Scott, Shirley Russell and Dorothy Kellum, all of New Comerstown, OH and Debra Belcher of Akron, OH and a very
special dear friend Penny Hawkins of Rutherford, TN.
He was preceded in death by his parents Vina (Mitchell) and Charles James Belcher a brother Edward James Belcher and a grandson Devin George Anthony Reddrick.
There will be no visitation or services held at the Hornbeak Funeral Home. A memorial service will be held at a later date in Ohio.
