Gaylon Rushing

Mr. Gaylon Rushing, age 89, of South Fulton, TN passed away Wednesday,
June 10, 2020 at The Arbors at the Etheridge House in Union City, TN.

He was born on August 31, 1930 in Graves County, KY to the late
Charley and Beartie Bynum Rushing.

Mr. Rushing was a member of the First Baptist Church in Fulton,
where he was also a member of the George Brock Sunday School
Class. He was the former owner of the South Fulton Dry Cleaners and
retired from the former Turner Dairies, Inc.

He is survived by a daughter, Donna Gayle Hunt of South Fulton, TN,
a son, Randy Dale Rushing of Lakeland, FL, four grandchildren; Megan
Wright of South Fulton, TN, Casey Rice of Denver, CO, Michael Rushing
of Lakeland, FL and Melissa Rushing of North Carolina, four great-grandchildren;
Aeriel Wright and Trinity Wright both of South Fulton, TN, Bryson Rushing and
Blake Rushing both of Lakeland, FL.

In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his wife, Betty Jean
Austin Rushing and a half-sister, Maynell Simmons.

Graveside services will be held at 11AM Friday in the Pilot Oak Baptist
Church Cemetery. There will be no visitation held at the funeral home and
friends are asked to meet at the cemetery at the hour of service.
