Freida Carr

Mrs. Freida Carr, 71, of Hickman, KY, passed away at her residence on Wednesday, March 22, 2023.

Freida was born on September 12, 1951 in Hickman, KY to the late James and Marie (Copeland) Ross. She was of the Baptist faith and a member of the Sassafras Ridge Baptist Church in Hickman, KY.

In addition to her parents, Freida is preceded in death by a brother, Bobby Ross, and a sister, Vickie Holcomb.

She is survived by her son, Travis (Melissa) Driver of Troy, TN, brothers, Ralph Ross of Cayce, KY and Wayne Ross of Hickman, KY, sister Judy Shell of Hickman, KY, grandchildren Dalton Driver of Union City, TN and Autumn Driver of Gadsden, AL, and a great grand daughter, Raelynn Cole of Gadsden, AL, step grandsons: Jonathan Cope, Joshua Cope, and Jacob Cope all of Martin, TN. 

Funeral services for Mrs. Freida Carr will be held on Saturday, March 25, 2023 at 1:00 P.M. at Strong Funeral Home with Bro. Charles Southerland officiating. Burial will follow in the Hickman City Cemetery.

The family will receive visitors on Saturday, March 25, 2023 at Strong Funeral home from 11:00 A.M. until service time.

Cameron Jordan, Bryant Driver, Robert Stacks, Bo Falgout, Jacob Cope, and Adam Tune will serve as pallbearers.
