He was a World War II veteran. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Fulton,KY and a business owner; served on the Selective Service Board for 20 years during the Korean and Vietnam Wars. He was also an active member of the Rotary Club, a Paul Harris Fellow, member of the Elks Club and member of the 40 & 8 Clubs.
He is survived by his wife Margaret Khourie Homra, whom he married July 31, 1944, his children, Pam Shdeed of Oklahoma City,OK and her husband, Bill, Dr. Ronald A. Homra of Jackson, TN and his wife Melba, Cindy Crittendon of Oklahama City,OK and her husband John. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren,
a sister - Adeline Hamra of Dallas, TX as well as many beloved cousins,nieces and nephews and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Asbir & Adeeba Homra, a
brother- Foad Homra and 3 sisters: Frieda Rashid, Vicky Hamra and Lillian Naifeh.
