Frank George Schmidt

Mr. Frank George Schmidt of Hickman, Ky passed away Monday, March 25, 2021 at Baptist Memorial
Hospital in Union City, Tn.

Frank was born in Joliett, Ill on February 6, 1956 to the late Robert James Schmidt and Clara Lee Riel Schmidt.

He was a former member of the Lions Club in Channahon, Ill., the recipient of Melvin Jones Award, a
committee member of the Three Rivers Festival in Channahon, Ill., a member of OFOPOS and a member
of Local Union #150. Frank served in the Army and was stationed in Vietnam.

Frank was survived by his wife of 39 years, Mary Schmidt, two daughters, Kristina Marie Schmidt and Kara D.
Schmidt of Hickman, Ky., three grandchildren, Lillian Schmidt, Ashley Schmidt and Jacob Schmidt all of
Joliett, Ill. and one sister, Linda Townil, Plainfield, Ill.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one son, Mathew Scott.

A private family service will be held at a later date.
