Fonda Swain

Mrs. Fonda Swain, 55, of Hickman, KY, passed away at Jackson Purchase Medical Center on Thursday, March 2, 2023.

Fonda was born on November 20, 1967 in Union City, TN to the late Leroy and Mary Pauline (Wright) Cagle. She was a retired treasurer, of the Baptist faith, and a member of the West Baptist Church in Hickman, KY.

She is survived by her husband, John Swain of Hickman, KY, son John Davis Swain of Hickman, KY daughters, Kristin Lee Swain of Hickman, KY, Naomi T. (Jeremy) Jones of Cayce, KY, Cassandra (Trent) Fowler of Paducah, KY, brother Richard (Sharon) Cagle of Clinton, KY, sisters, Judy (Kenneth) Basham of Medina, TN, Robin Stacks of Hickman, KY, grandchildren, Thomas Waylon Brunswick of Cayce, KY, Jordyn P. and Terran Fowler of Paducah, KY, and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Funeral services for Mrs. Fonda Swain will be held on Monday, March 6, 2023 at 11:00 A.M. at Strong Funeral Home with Pastor Greg Cagle officiating. Burial will follow in the Hickman City Cemetery.

The family will receive visitors on Sunday, March 5, 2023 at Strong Funeral Home from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. and again on Monday, March 6, 2023 from 9:00 A.M. until service time.

Greg Cagle, Rick Cagle, Chad Cagle, Robert Stacks, Ken Basham, Keith Basham, and Thomas Waylon Brunswick will serve as pallbearers.
