Floyd Edward Starks

February 9, 1939 — October 2, 2008

He had been a truck driver for Crop Production Services in Palmersville, TN and was a veteran of the U.S. Army having served in the Korean War. He had lived in the Latham community most of his life.

He is survived by his wife - Wanda Jane (Carney) Starks of the Latham community, a daughter - April Starks of Benton, KY and a step son - Ricky Harrison and his wife Regina of Sharon, TN. 3 grandchildren - Brandon Kildow, Heather Adams and Jason Harrison, and a great grandchild - Gracie Adams. 2 brothers - Danny Starks and Donald Starks both of Amory, MS and 2 sisters- Gladys Burress of Georgia and Betty Smith of West Palm Beach, Florida.

He was preceded in death by his parents - Clarence Edward Starks and Rebecca Louise (Tidwell) Starks, a grandson - Austin Kildow, a brother - Waymon Starks and a sister - Wilma Ritz.

Graveside services will be held at the Oak Grove Cemetery on Saturday, October 4, 2008 at 3 p.m. and visitation will be at the Jackson Funeral Home from 1 p.m. Saturday until time to leave for the cemetery for graveside services.
