Mr. Floyd James McClure, age 82,
of Sedalia,KY died February 12, 2013 at 12:18 am at his residence.
He was a member of the Lynnville Baptist Church and had worked for
General Tire Company in Mayfield, KY for 28 years. He moved to
Dukedom, TN from Lake County and then to Graves County, KY in
the Tri City area in 1972.
He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Jessie Lee (Tyson) McClure of Sedalia, KY, three sons and daughters in law, Terry and Nancy
McClure of Palmersville, TN, Dennis McClure of Mayfield,KY,
Stevie and Rose McClure of Sedalia, KY and Barbara McClure of
Martin, TN and a daughter and son in law Karen and Barry Barber
of Palmersville,TN; ten grandchildren, twenty seven great
grandchildren and one great great grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his parents Ollie James McClure and
Lavanda Irene (Johnson) McClure, two sons Johnny McClure and
Jackie McClure, a daughter Carol Sue McClure, a grandchild, and
five sisters Jean Osborne, Patsy Young, Grace Powell, Barbara
Cherry and Peggy Sue McClure.
Funeral service will be held at 2 pm Thursday, Feb. 14 at the Jackson Funeral Home and interment will be in the Acree Cemetery in Dukedom, TN. Visitation will be at the Jackson Funeral Home from 5-8 pm on Wednesday, Feb.13.
