Florence Wilkerson

Mrs. Florence S. Wilkerson, 91, of Hickman went to be with her Lord and Savior at 4:16 A.M. on Friday, July 2, 2021 at her residence.

She was born on April 14, 1930 in New Johnsonville, TN to the late Otto and Edith Sharp. 

Mrs. Wilkerson was a member of the West Baptist Church in Hickman and had been a homemaker most of life.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Howard Wilkerson, brother, Charles Sharp, sisters, Faye Brackett Irene Plant, Anna Maude Anderson and Louise Lashlee.

She is survived by her sons, Mike (Miki) Wilkerson of Woodland Mills, TN, Jeff (Laura) Wilkerson of Fredericksburg, VA, Byron (Renee) Wilkerson of Jackson, MO, daughter, Celia (Buddy) Amberg of Hickman, KY, sister, Corrinne Castleman of Clarksville, TN, 8 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and 1 great- great grandchild.

Funeral services for Mrs. Wilkerson will be held at 3:00 P.M. on Saturday, July 3^rd at the West Baptist Church in Hickman with Bro. Jason Sipes officiating. Burial will be in the Hickman City Cemetery.

The family will receive visitors at the West Hickman Baptist Church from 12:00 P.M. until service time on July 3^rd, 2021.

Tevin Wilkerson, Jacob Wilkerson, Josh Garrigan, Braden Johnson, Rob Garrigan and Bret Johnson will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers are the West Hickman Baptist Church Deacons and Chuck Everett and Johnny Branam.
