Elsie Virginia Smith

Ms. Elsie Virginia Smith, age 89, of Fulton and formerly of Clinton, KY passed away on
Saturday, September 8, 2018 at Diversicare of Fulton.

She was a member of the New Bethel Baptist Church  near Fulgham and she had
worked for the Hickman Co. Senior Citizens where she was very active. She had lived
in Clinton, KY most of her life.

She is survived by two daughters and a son in law, Glenda & Kenneth
Mathis of Water Valley, KY and Freda Hall of Sharon, TN, two sons and
a daughter in law, Duane Smith of Fulton, KY and David & Peggy Smith
of Clinton, KY; four grandchildren, two step grandchildren, seven great
grandchildren and five step great grandchildren, five great great grandchildren
and six step great great grandchildren, two brothers Franklin D. Pigg and
Roy Pigg, both of Doniphan, MO.

She was preceded in death by her parents William and Dorothy Whitwell
Pigg, a son and two brothers.

Funeral service will be held at 2 pm on Tuesday, September 11 at the Pleasant
Valley Church near Fulgham and burial will follow in the Pleasant Valley Cemetery.
Visitation will be at the Pleasant Valley Church from 12 noon Tuesday until the funeral
hour.
