Eleanor Elks Johnson

Mrs. Eleanor Elks Johnson , age 87, of Hickman, KY
passed away Wednesday, July 5, 2023 at the Fulton 
Nursing and Rehab in Fulton, KY.

She was born in Hickman, KY on December
1, 1935 to the late Elihue Elks and Corene Johnson
Elks.

She is survived by her daughters, Barbara Ann Toombs
(Terry) of Union City, TN and Betty Joyce Simmons
(Will) of Clinton, KY, four sisters: Francis Johnson
of Henderson, KY, Pearl Dick of Union City, TN
Joyce Ford of Union City, TN and  Jane Bing of
Union City, TN, two brothers: Danny Elks of 
Woodland Mills, TN and John David Elks of
Nevada; 7 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, 
21 nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death
by her husband Ken Howard Johnson, her son James
Howard Johnson, and her siblings: Carol Ruth Elks,
Patrica Ann Farmer, Odis Oneal Elks, Jimmy Elks,
Robert Elks and Donna Haney. 

Funeral services will be held at 11AM Saturday, July 8, 2023
at Hornbeak Funeral Chapel in Fulton with burial to follow in the 
Hickman City Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the Hornbeak Funeral
Chapel in Fulton from 5-8PM Friday.
