Edward "Charles" Earl Jones

August 19, 1934 — January 3, 2013

Mr. Edward "Charles" Jones of the Pilot Oak community died Thursday at the Haws Memorial Nursing Home.

He was a member of the Pilot Oak Baptist Church and was a trackhoe
operator for the Graves County Road Department. He had lived in the
Pilot Oak community all of his life.

He is survived by his wife, Marilyn (Owsley) Jones to whom he married
February 26, 1954, three sons, Ray Kent (Kathy) Jones of Mayfield KY,
Michael Wayne (Lynn) Jones of Franklin TN, Dean Allen Jones of
Huntsville AL, six grandchildren , five great grandchildren, two brothers,
J.W. (Charlotte) Jones of Palmersville TN, Wendell Ray Jones of Wingo KY,
and a sister, Juanita (Harlon) Watts of Wingo KY.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Noble and Lora Pearl (Lamb) Jones.

Funeral services will be held at 11AM Saturday at the Pilot Oak Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the Pilot Oak Baptist Church cemetery.

Friends may call at the Pilot Oak Baptist Church from 5PM to 8PM Friday and anytime Saturday until the service hour.
