Mr. Khourie died March 17, 2009 at the Parkway Regional Hospital in Fulton, KY.
He was a member of the Trinity Episcopal Church in Fulton and
was very active in the church serving in the capacity of acolyte,lay reader, crucifer and official bell ringer. He had served its alter duties as a layperson for 67 years. He had also sold newspapers for the former Fulton Daily Leader and the former Fulton News. He was known to many as the "Popcorn Man" from selling popcorn on Lake Street. He had lived in Fulton all of his life.
He is survived by 2 sisters Mercedes Engel of Fulton,KY and
Virginia Khourie of Cario, IL
He was preceded in death by his parents Lilly and Alexander
Khourie, a sister Mozelle Khourie and a brother Earnest Khourie.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, March 21,2009 at the Trinity Episcopal Church.
Interment will be in the Obion Co. Memorial Gardens. Friends may call at the funeral home from 5-7 p.m. on Friday. Friends are asked to meet at the church on Saturday at the funeral hour.
