Eddie Pennell

August 21, 1939 — September 17, 2021

Mr. Jewell Edward "Eddie" Pennell, age 82, of South Fulton, TN
passed away Friday, September 17, 2021 at the Jackson Purchase
Medical Center in Mayfield, KY.

He was born on August 21, 1939 in San Joaquin County, CA to
the late Alcie Pennell and Myrtle Louise Carter Pennell Reilly.

Eddie was a member of the Moscow Baptist Church and was a
United States Army veteran where he served in Korea. He was
also a member of the National Guard for 33 years. Eddie worked
at the former Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company in Union City,
TN as a tuber operator. He was an avid golfer and a member of the
breakfast buddies.

He is survived by his wife, Pattie Sue Pillow Hicks Pennell,
whom he was married to for 49 years, his children; Mark
Edward Pennell of Santa Fe, NM, Linda Hicks Taylor of
South Fulton, TN and Michael (Jamie) Hicks of South Fulton,
TN, his grandchildren; Bridgette Taylor (Jeremy) Grogan of
Murray, KY, Chad (Shannon) Taylor of Fulton, KY,
Justin (Madison) Taylor of Water Valley, KY, Adam
(Samantha) Hicks of Dubuque, IA, Conner (Cassidy)
Hicks of Benton, KY, Kirsten West of San Antonio,
TX and Bryce Pennell of San Antonio, TX, eleven
great-grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren, three
brothers; Paul Pennell of Fulton, KY, Mike Reilly of
Moscow, KY and Mickey Reilly of Fulton, KY,
two sisters; Billie Jo Pennell of Stockton, CA and
JoAnn Hernandez of Stockton, CA.

In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by
a sister, Janie Madding and a brother Tony Reilly.

Graveside services will be held at 2PM Thursday in the
Oakwood Cemetery. There will be no visitation held at
the funeral home and friends are asked to meet at the cemetery
at the hour of service.
