Duward McAlister

Mr. Duward McAlister, age 95, of Fulton died Friday, June 2, 2017 at the Diversicare of Fulton.
He was a lifetime member of the Wesley Methodist Church, was a United States Army Sgt. where he served in World War II, retired from General Tire in 1984. He lived in this area all of his life.
Mr. McAlister is survived by his daughter, Cathy Hooper of Wichita, KS, four grandchildren, four great grandchildren, a sister Jetty Humphries of Fulton, KY, two brothers; Ronald McAlister of La Center, KY and Robert McAlister of Dyersburg, TN and a loving companion of 7 years, Helen Bostick.
He was preceded in death by his wife Estelle (Winstead) McAlister,
a son and daughter-in-law Duane and Glenda McAlister, his parents,
Byron and Genevieve (Byrn) McAlister, three brothers, Joe McAlister,
Forrest McAlister and John McAlister and two sisters, Hilda Hurst and Glenda Miller.
Funeral services will be held at 2PM Saturday in our funeral chapel with burial to follow in the Wesley Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 11AM Saturday until the hour of service.
Memorials may be made to the Wesley Cemetery Fund, 5599 State Route 1529 E, Fulton, KY 42041.
