Dorsie Lee Allen

Mrs. Dorsie Lee Allen, age 80, of Water Valley, KY passed away on Sunday,
September 17, 2018 at Diversicare of Martin.

She was a member of the Pleasant View Baptist Church and was a 1956
graduate of the E.W. Grove High School in Henry Co., TN. She was a
homemaker and had also worked for H.I.S. as a machine operator and a
supervisor.

She is survived by a son and daughter in law Randall and Annette Allen
of South Fulton, TN; two granddaughters Jennifer Allen and Amanda
Allen, both of South Fulton, TN, a great grandchild Jamison Cranford of
South Fulton,TN, a brother Bobby Starling of Gleason, TN and several
nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband Dorris B. Allen on May 11,
2018, her parents Dorcie and Francis Lee Riggs Starling, a brother
John Starling and a sister Pat Salmon.

Funeral service will be held at  2 pm Wednesday, Sept. 19 in our funeral chapel with
burial to follow in the Wesley Cemetery.  Visitation will be at the funeral home
from 12 noon Wednesday until the funeral hour.
