Mrs. Dorothy Laverene Sims of Reidland, KY and formerly of Fulton, KY died Tuesday, July 11, 2017 at Baptist Health of Paducah.
Mrs. Sims was a member of Reidland Church of Christ in Paducah, KY
and lived in this area most of her life.
She is survived by three children; Saundra Latham (Jim) Sims of Mt Juliet, TN, Karen Sims (Kenneth) Johnson of Tompkinsville, KY, Billene Sims (Steve) Courtney of Paducah, KY, eight grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and a brother Michael Lowe.
She is preceded in death by her first husband, Larry Latham, her second husband William L. Sims, her parents Herbert and Vertis Johnson Lowe, three brothers and three sisters.
Graveside services will be held at 11AM Saturday in the Obion County Memorial Gardens. There will be no visitation held at the funeral home and friends are asked to meet at the cemetery at the hour of service.
