Dorothy Gaston

Ms. Dorothy Gaston, 78, of Hickman, KY, passed away at her residence on Monday, July 4, 2022.

She was born on July 9, 1943 to the late Willie Gaston and Francis (Buchanan) Gaston in Fulton County, KY. Dorothy was a member of the Lee Chapel Missionary Baptist Church in Hickman, KY. She worked most of her life as a cook for numerous catering occasions.

Dorothy is survived by her sons, Lendell Gaston of Fulton, KY, Clarence Gaston of Henning, TN; daughters Clarissa (Doanld) McGee of Tuscumbia, AL and Denise Gaston of Union City, TN; 13 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren, and 4 great great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Dorothy was preceded in death by her son, Sherman Gaston; brothers Leonard Gaston, Albert Gaston, Bobby Gaston, Charles Gaston, Willie Gaston, Jr., W.C. Nicholson and Willie Nicholson; sisters, Clara Nicholson, Catherine Nicholson, Margaret Jones Mays, Rella Mae Wilson, Ineva Mays, Martha Cole, Verna Moore, and Faye King.

Funeral services for Ms. Dorothy Gaston will be held on Saturday, July 9, 2022 at 1:00 P.M. at the Lake Chapel Missionary Baptist Church in Hickman, KY with Pastor Johnny Ray Jones officiating. Burial will follow in the Hickman City cemetery.

The family will receive visitors on Saturday, July 9, 2022 from 11:00 A.M. at the Lake Chapel Missionary Baptist Church until service time.
