Diana K. Cathey

Mrs. Diana K. Swearingen Cathey, age 78, of South Fulton, TN passed away Sunday, November 7, 2021 at the Jackson Madison County Hospital in Jackson, TN.

She was born on December 12, 1942 in Martin, TN to the late Russell and Mary Alice Campbell Swearingen.

Diana was of the Church of Christ faith, she was an avid Nascar fan and loved to make quilts. She lived most of her life in this area.

She is survived by a son, William "Billy" Cathey of South Fulton, TN, two daughters; Teresa (Earl) Mulcahy of South Fulton, TN and Diana Cathey Cook of South Fulton, TN, eight grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, a daughter in law Lisa Morris Cathey of South Fulton, TN and a brother, Don Swearingen of Crutchfield, KY.

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Charles Herbert "Herb" Cathey, a son Charles D. Cathey and a brother Russell Swearingen, Jr.

Graveside services will be held at 1:30 PM Wednesday in the Obion County Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 12Noon Wednesday until time to leave for the cemetery.
