Dennis Wayne Bruner

Mr. Dennis Wayne Bruner, age 76, of Martin, TN
passed away Friday, June 23, 2023 at the AHC-Union
City.

He was born on July 23, 1946 in Fulton, KY to the late
Emmuel Bruner and Imogene Thompson Bruner.

Dennis was a member of Ruthville Baptist Church where he
served as a Deacon and was the oldest active  member.
He served in the Tennessee National Guard for 6 years and 
was a retired member of the Cumberland Aires. He was also
a member of the Coffee Club. Dennis was a retired 
electrician and foreman for the Tennessee Valley Authority 
(TVA) in Martin. 

He is survived by his wife, Betty Roberson Bruner whom
he married April 29, 1966, two sons: Keven (Michelle)
Bruner of Martin, TN and Kelly (Mitzi) Bruner of Obion,
TN, four grandchildren: Grace (Brant) Luker of Lexington, TN,
Emma Bruner of Martin, TN, Kaleb Bruner of Obion, TN and
Adam Bruner of Obion, TN and an aunt, Edna Earl Roper of 
Hickman, KY.

Funeral services will be held at 2PM Sunday, June 25, 2023 in
our funeral chapel with Bro. Tommy Harrison and Bro. Scott 
Williams officiating. Burial will follow in the Sandy Branch Cemetery.
Visitation will  be held at the funeral home from 12Noon Sunday until the 
hour of service. 

Pallbearers will be Kaleb Bruner, Adam Bruner, Brant Luker, Jeff Strickland,
Don Grubbs and Wayne McDonald.  Honorary pallbearers will be Leroy Sawyer,
Kenny Stowell, Robert Dilday, Mark Bennett, Don Morgan, Emory Brooks,
Ronnie Bynum and Gary Bradley.
