Deborah Powell Carr

Mrs. Deborah Powell Carr, age 61, of Hickman, KY passed Wednesday, October 13, 2021 at her residence.

She was born on January 3, 1960 in Landstuhl, Germany to the late George and Thelma Jean Shell Powell.

Deborah was a member of New Hope Baptist Church in Clinton, KY and worked as a seamstress at the former Henry I Siegel in Hickman, KY.

She lived all of her life in Fulton County, KY.

She is survived by her husband, David L. Carr of Hickman, KY, a daughter Ashley (Sean) Zwieg of Hickman, KY, a son James Adam (Jana) Tune of Charlotte, NC, five grandchildren; David Jones of Newbern, TN, Brittany Daniels of Martin TN, Breanna Grey of Hickman, KY, Gracey Tune of Charlotte, NC and Kinsley Tune of Charlotte, NC, two great-grandchildren; Axel Jones and Brantley Jones both of Newbern, TN, two sisters; Sherry Futrell and Carol Powell Hames both of Fulton, KY, three brothers; Terry Powell of Fulton, KY, Darrell Powell of Cayce, KY and Larry Powell of Billings, MT.

Funeral services will be held at 2PM Saturday, October 16, 2021 in our funeral chapel with burial to follow in the Good Springs Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 12Noon Saturday until the hour of service.
