David Grant Westbrook

David Grant Westbrook, 66, of Hickman passed away at his residence on January 28, 2018.

He was born in Hickman on June 10, 1951 to the late Walvy Westbrook, Sr. and late Nancy (Smith) Westbrook, Sr.  David graduated from Fulton County High School and had attended the University of Kentucky. While at the University of Kentucky he began creating and selling wire sculptors.  He later moved to Florida, where he was an airplane mechanic with several different aviation companies.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Walvy Westbrook, Jr. and sister, Mai Alice Beard.

Left to cherish his memories are his brothers, Louis Westbrook of Lansing, MI, Lloyd (Loretta) Westbrook of Idaho Fall, ID and Michael Westbrook of Plainfield, NJ; his sisters, Vernell (Louard) Crumbaugh of Nampa, ID, Linda Martin of Oakland, CA, Beverly Odom of Orangeburg, SC, Letitia (Ronald) Caldwell of Hickman, KY and Tammy Westbrook of Plainfield, NJ, and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.

Memorial services will be held at 12:00 Noon on Saturday, May 19, 2018 at the Greater Mount Zion church in Hickman with Rev. James Roberson officiating.  Burial will follow in the Hickman City Cemetery.

The family will receive visitors at the Greater Mount Zion church on Saturday from 11:00 AM until service time.
