Mr. David W. Hicks, age 82, of Memphis, TN and formerly of Fulton, KY died Monday, July 6, 2015 at the Methodist University Hospital in Memphis, TN.
He was a 1951 graduate of Fulton High School, a member of the Lincoln Park, MI Ionic Lodge. He was an assembly line maintenance worker for the Ford Motor Company for 43 years and was a veteran of the United States Army. He had been a resident of Memphis, TN for the past six years.
He is survived by three nephews; Howard Hicks of Memphis, TN, Michael Hicks of Atlanta, GA, Gary Hicks of Waynesville, OH and two nieces, Nancy Whitman of Memphis, TN, Jeannie Whitman of England.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Kim Sagona Hicks, his parents, Irl and Kernie Bockman Hicks, a brother, Howard Hicks and a sister Hilda Whitman
Funeral services will be held at 1PM Saturday, July 18, 2015 in our funeral chapel with burial to follow in the Mt Zion Cemetery near Water Valley. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 11AM Saturday until hour of service.
