David Branch

Mr. David Branch, 66, of Fulton, KY, passed away
on Thursday, April 13, 2023 at Baptist Health in
Paducah, KY.

David was born on November 8, 1956 in Memphis,
TN to the late Donald and Maryann (Carter) Branch.
He was a member of the First United Methodist
Church in Fulton, KY. He was very involved in 
helping with the First United Methodist Women's
Welcoming Committee, and was active with
the Ken-Tenn Food Bank. He received a PHD
from University of California, Berkeley and was a
graduate of UCLA. David had lived in Memphis, TN, 
Los Angeles, CA and Fulton, KY. He also enjoyed wood
working.

In addition to his parents, David is preceded in death 
by his step-mother, Marqueritte D. Branch and step-
son, Brent Robinson, 2 step-brothers: Bill and Jim Frye
and a step-granddaughter, Megan Steele.

He is survived by his wife, Shirley Downs Robinson

of Oklahoma City, OK, step-daughter Monique (Robert)
Smith of Osceola, AR, step-sons: Michael A.L. (Lisa)

of Dallas, TX, Marcus (Christian) Steele of 
Nashville, TN, a brother Daniel (Vanessa)
Branch of Chapin SC, step-brothers Joe
Terney of Gulf Shores, AL, Mark Terney and 
Mike Terney both of Clarksdale, MS, step-sisters 
Camille Summer of Gulf Shores, AL and Millicent
Wilkerson of Meredian, MS,14 step-grandchildren
and 12 great-step-grandchildren.  

A memorial service for Mr. David Branch will be 
held on Saturday, April 22, 2023 at 1:00 P.M. at 
the First United Methodist Church in Fulton, KY
with Pastor Sue Engle Carrigan and Pastor Nancy 
Varden officiating. Visitation will be held at the First
United Methodist Church Saturday, April 22, 2023 
from 11:00 A.M. until service time.
