Dairus Carr

Mr. Dairus Carr, age 92, of the Cayce community passed away
on Thursday, February 7, 2019.  He was born on March 3, 1926 in Obion Co., TN.

Mr. Carr was a member of the Cayce Baptist Church and the adult men's
Sunday School Class; he also served as a deacon and had worked for 39
years in the shipping department for the former Reelfoot Packing Company
in Union City, TN. He had lived in the Cayce community most of his life.

He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Mozell Hammond Carr of the Cayce
community, a brother Jake Carr and three sisters Nona Ruth Ward,
Floella Caldwell and Mignon Guess, all of Union City, TN, eight nephews
and a niece and several great nieces and great nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents Buford and Ambret Thomas Carr
and a brother Jess Carr.

Funeral service will be 1 pm on Tuesday, February 12 in our funeral chapel
with burial to follow in the Cayce Methodist Church Cemetery. Visitation
will be at the funeral home from 11 am Tuesday until the funeral hour.
