Curtis K. Craven, age 83, of Memphis TN passed away in his sleep February 29, 2012.
He was a retired engineer for the Illinois Central Gulf Railroad and a Mason. Mr. Craven was a US Air Force Korean War veteran and a member of the Asbury United Methodist Church.
He is survived by his loving wife of 62 years Mary D. Craven: daughter Brenda Smith : four grandchildren Jason Smith of Germantown TN, Justin Smith or Huntsville AL, Jessica Smith of Louisville KY Jordan Smith of Lakeland FL, two brothers Harlan (Sue) Craven, Bob (Patsy) Craven, both of Fulton KY and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his son, Jerry Craven and brother, Lynn Craven.
Visitation will be 12PM until service begins at 2PM on Saturday, March 3 at Forest Hill East Funeral Home with burial following.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests any memorials be made to the Asbury United Methodist Church Food Pantry. Forest Hill East Funeral Home. Phone # 901-382-1000.
