Coy Gene Bond

Mr. Coy Gene Bond, age 87, of San Antonio, TX and formerly of this area passed away peacefully Tuesday, November 23, 2021 at his residence.

He was born on January 4, 1934 in Union City, TN to the late Coy Wingo Bond and Opal Smith.

Mr. Bond was a United States Army veteran and he retired from Ford Motor Company after 35 years. He graduated from Ypsilanti, MI High School in 1953. Mr. Bond enjoyed traveling with his family, making/playing music in his spare time and also enjoyed researching his ancestry online.

He is survived by a daughter Kelly Gene Bond of San Antonio, TX, a son in law Roger Williamson of Dukedom, TN and, his grandchildren; James Williamson (Kristy) of Bon Aqua, TN, Daniel Williamson (Amber) of Carthage, NY, Jennifer Lynn Williamson of South Fulton, TN Amanda Lynn (Combs) Requena (Rudy) of San Antonio, TX, David Coy Olvera of San Antonio, TX, five grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren and one great grandchild.

In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his wife, Gloria Lynn Sutton, who passed in 2002 and a daughter Sharon Lynn Williamson.

Memorial services will be held at a later date.
