Courtney Copelen

Mr. Courtney Shane Copelen age 56 of the Crutchfield community passed away on Tuesday April 16, 2024, at the Skyline Medical Center in Nashville TN.
Courtney was born in Fulton, KY on May 22, 1967 to the late Frances Marie Copelen.

Courtney was a lifelong resident of the Crutchfield Community. He spent many years working as a carpenter, but spent most of his time lately riding his motorcycle and loving his dogs. Home was his favorite place to be.

Courtney is survived by two sisters: Tracey (Charlie) Dennis of the Crutchfield Community and Tatia (Jerry) Bradshaw of Mayfield, KY. Nephews Shea Lattus of Cayce, KY, Clayton (Tyler) Bradshaw of Mayfield, KY, one niece Emily (Matthew) McIntire of Wingo, KY, one great nephew Miller McIntire and one great niece Nora McIntire of Mayfield. One half brother Charles Major of Ohio and Cherlenna Major of Florida.

In addition to his mother, he is predeceased by his beloved Grandfather Elmoore Copelen and Grandmother Nettie Lee Copelen.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00PM Friday April19, 2024 in our funeral chapel. With burial to follow in the Rock Springs Cemetery. Visitation for Mr. Courtney Copelen will be held Friday April 19, 2024, from 1:00PM until the service hour.

Pallbearers include Shea Lattus, Matthew McIntire, Clayton Bradshaw, Chris Copelen, Randy Birmingham, and Todd Jones. With Bruce Thompson and Tony Hooper serving as honorary pallbearers.
