Clarice Barnes

Mrs. Clarice Barnes, age 80, of Water Valley passed away Thursday evening at Mercy Health-Lourdes Hospital.

Clarice was born in Fulton County, KY on August 28, 1941 to Ernie Dunn and Laura Ramsey Dunn.

She was a homemaker and had lived in this area all of her life.

Clarice is survived by her husband, Gerald Barnes to whom she was married on May 27, 1965, two sons, Chris (Melissa) Barnes of Water Valley, KY and Ben (Erin) Barnes of South Fulton, TN., four grandchildren, Luke (Carmen) Barnes of Pilot Oak, KY, Rayna Ice of Martin, TN, Jackson Barnes and Anna Claire Barnes of South Fulton, TN, two sisters, Rena Carr of Hickman, KY and Barbara Johnson of Martin, TN.

She was preceded in death by her parents, three brother and two sisters.

Funeral services will be held at 2PM Sunday at the Pleasant Valley Mission with burial to follow in Water Valley Cemetery. Friends may call at Hornbeak Funeral Chapel on Saturday from 5 PM until 8 PM or Sunday at the Pleasant Valley Mission at the hour of service.
