Mr. Charles "Chuck" Cooley, age 75, of Martin,
TN passed away Wednesday, June, 12, 2024 at
his residence. 

He was born August 2, 1948 in Fulton, KY
to the late Paul Cooley and Carolyn Wilson Cooley.

He was a United States Retired Army Veteran, where
he served in Vietnam as a First Sergeant. He was
a recipient of the following medals and accommodations,
Bronze Star Medal, Meritorious Service Medal,
Air Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Good
Conduct Medal, Vietnam Service Medal with Three
Bronze Service Stars, Republic of Vietnam Campaign
Medal, Expert Marksmanship Qualification Badge
with Rifle Bar, Expert Marksmanship Qualification
Badge with Pistol Bar, Combat Infantryman Badge,
and Air Assault Badge. He retired from MPRI as
a defense contractor. He was also a member of the
Rakkasan Association and the Order of St. Barbara.
He has lived most of his life in Dukedom, as well
as different parts of the U.S. and the world.

He is survived by two sons: Mark Cooley of
Clarksville, TN; and Erich Cooley of South Fulton,
TN. He is also survived by four grandchildren: 
Dillon Cooley of Clarksville, TN; Holley Cooley
of Nashville, TN; Jakob Cooley of South Fulton,
TN; Wade Cooley of South Fulton, TN; along with
one great grandson: Asher Cooley of Clarksville,
TN; a sister: Brenda Pritchard of Portage, IN; and a
dear friend: Carolyn Laird Gargus.

In addition to his parents, he is proceeded in death
by his two brothers: Ronnie Cooley, and Barry 
Cooley.

Funeral services for Mr. Charles "Chuck" Cooley
will be held at 2PM Sunday, June 16, 2024 at the
Hornbeak Funeral Chapel in Fulton, KY, with burial
to follow in the Pilot Oak Baptist Church Cemetery.
Visitation will be held at the Hornbeak Funeral Chapel
from 5PM to 8PM Saturday, June 15, 2024.
