Charles C. Gibson

July 28, 1938 — April 8, 2016

Mr. Charles Gibson, 77, of Dukedom died Friday at Tennova Healthcare-Volunteer Martin.

He attended Ruthville Baptist Church and was a veteran of the
U.S. Army having served during the Korean War. He was a sheet rock
finisher and Co-Owner of G.C.T. Drywall and was a tobacco farmer
in Weakley Co. TN. He lived 20 years in Niles MI and the rest of his
life in Weakley Co. TN.

He is survived by his wife Barbara Curran Gibson to whom he married
November 23, 1963 of Dukedom TN. , three daughters, Amy Gibson
Guest of Martin TN, Leisa Gibson of Dukedom TN, Stacey (Michael) Gibson Cox of Union City TN, two grandchildren Bo Chandler Guest of Martin TN, Cameron Seth Dodson of Dukedom TN, a sister Brenda Adell (Gibson) Castleman of Martin TN, and a half sister Patricia Ann (Webb) Elliott of Martin TN, two step brothers, David Webb of South Fulton TN
and Bobby Dale Webb of Union City TN.

He was preceded in death by his father John Albert Gibson and his
mother and step father Buster and Tommie Mozzel (McAlister) Webb,
and two step brothers Jerry Webb and Glendale Webb.

Funeral services will be held at 1 PM Tuesday in our funeral chapel. Rev. Lowell Wiley will officiate. Burial will follow in the New Hope Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 5 PM to 8 PM Monday.
